영어를 공부하며, 가르치며 좋은 지문 찾느라 고생한 기억이 가득하다. 좋은 예문 때문에 영영사전도 보고하지만, 문장을 넘어, 단락, 한 편의 좋은 글을 찾는 것은 쉬운 일이 아니다. 예전보다 영어 글들을 접하긴 쉬워졌음에도, 좋은 글의 목마름은 여전하다. EduLab과 관련한 이야기를 하던 중, 연설문을 엮는 책을 기획하게 되었다. 연설문은 최고수준의 자료이면서도, 대중을 위한 것이어서 문장이 깔끔하고, 단정하다. 또한, 말을 위한 글이어서 부드럽고, 분량부담도 적다고 할 수 있다. 이에 연설문 중에서도 선별을 하게 되었고, 두 권의 책 <최고의 영어 문장 미국 대통령 취임 연설>, <최고 영문 100>을 출판하게 되었다. 또한 분량, 시스템 부하 등을 고려한 시리즈로 나누어서도 출판되었다. 최근의 전자책들은 모두 사전, 메모, 형광펜 등의 기능을 가지고 있다. 이를 활용하면 바로바로 사전을 찾을 수 있고, 나만의 단어장도 만들 수 있다.목차
